Since PSA hydrogen purification technology applied in industry, after years of improvement and development, the hydrogen recovery has been greatly improved, for example in light oil shift gas production hydrogen process, the technology at home and abroad may improve the hydrogen recovery more than 89% (without vacuum) if the feed gas pressure is above 2.5MPa and the hydrogen purity requirements is above 99.99%(V). But the loss of hydrogen is still very large. For a PSA hydrogen purification unit of product hydrogen 50,000Nm3/h its annual loss of effectiveness is about 28 million Yuan. Although the vacuum process can be used to increase the hydrogen recovery, the recovery increases marginally, and the vacuum process consumes more electricity, complexes process, reduces the reliability of device. When the feed gas pressure is above 2.5MPa and hydrogen purity is above 99.99%, PSA hydrogen purification patent technology developed by Tianli can improve the recovery to above 98% without vacuum. For a PSA hydrogen purification unit of product hydrogen 50,000Nm3/h, its annual benefit increased is about 22 million Yuan comparing to the world existing hydrogen purification technology. Especially its application in the unit with very lower hydrogen concentration, it can increases hydrogen recovery above 30%. Even with the selection of Tianli improved one stage hydrogen purification patent technology, it can also increase hydrogen recovery 2 ~ 3%

Its operation indexes: feed gas 8,000 Nm3/h, adsorption pressure 0.8 MPa, product hydrogen purity 99.9% (V), hydrogen recovery 92% (V), hydrogen recovery higher 25% compared with traditional PSA hydrogen purification unit.
